Owner / Coach
Zach Huse is the Owner and Head Coach of Strength Works and a USA Weightlifting Senior International Coach with more than 13 years of coaching experience. A former Division I SEC football player at University of Kentucky and a national-level weightlifter since 2014, Zach has coached multiple National Champions, Team USA athletes, and international medalists while building one of the fastest-growing strength and weightlifting communities in the Midwest. His athletic background at the highest collegiate level gives him a unique understanding of discipline, performance, and the mindset required to compete and succeed at an elite level.
Built around his “Why Not Me?” philosophy, Zach has created a culture centered on belief, accountability, and chasing big goals without limits. What started as a small vision steadily grew through years of relentless work, athlete development, and community support into a thriving program of over 200 athletes. That same mentality led Zach and the Strength Works team to go all-in on their vision by purchasing and developing a new 3.5 acre, 12,000-square-foot facility designed to become a premier destination for strength, performance, recovery, and community.
In addition to leading Strength Works, Zach has coached within the Team USA National Team Program and worked with elite athletes across the NFL, NBA, MLB, MLS, and NHL through Bommarito Performance Systems. His coaching philosophy extends far beyond the platform — pushing athletes and members alike to pursue growth in every area of life. That mindset permeates every part of Strength Works and every coach on the team, creating an environment where people are challenged to believe in themselves, invest in their future, and realize what they’re truly capable of achieving.
